Please invite guests, spouses, significant others, friends, fellow parishioners, and others in the community, whether Catholic or non-Catholic, lawyer or non-lawyer, to this Mass and dinner.
We need to get our order into the caterer in the next day, so if you haven’t signed up, do so now! To RSVP, please email, Andrea Rule at [email protected]. Payment can be made by sending a check made out to the “Catholic Lawyers Association of Western Michigan” to Conor Dugan at Warner Norcross & Judd LLP, 900 Fifth Third Center, 111 Lyon Street NW, Grand Rapids, MI 49503-2487 or through PayPal at this link. At the dinner, we will be honoring David J. Gass of Miller Johnson with the St. Thomas More Award. Dave is a longtime, dedicated member of the Catholic Lawyers Association. Please come out to show Dave your support and gratitude for all he has done for the legal community. Our distinguished guest and speaker is Gerard V. Bradley Professor of Law at the University of Notre Dame Law School. Professor Bradley teaches legal ethics, criminal law, and constitutional law. He is the co-director of the Natural Law Institute and a co-editor of The American Journal of Jurisprudence, an international forum for legal philosophy. Professor Bradley will be giving a talk titled, “Witnessing to the Truth in a Rootless Age.” Professor Bradley will be helping us navigate our vocations as Catholic lawyers. We are very excited to welcome him to Grand Rapids. |
