You are invited to join the Catholic Lawyers of Western Michigan for the annual Red Mass on Tuesday, October 10, 2017 at 5:30 pm at the Cathedral of St. Andrew with dinner to follow at the Cathedral Square Center at 360 Division Ave, Grand Rapids, MI 49503.
At this year’s dinner, we will be honoring Judge Jeanine Nemesi LaVille with the St. Thomas More Award. Judge LaVille is a longtime, dedicated member of the Catholic Lawyers Association. Please come out to show Judge LaVille your support and gratitude for all she has done for the legal community. Our distinguished guest and speaker will be Father Mike Murray of the Diocese of Lansing. Father Murray will be speaking on Faith and the Law: Reflections of a Priest and Lawyer. Father Murray is a lawyer, the uncle of our board member, Hannah Naltner, and has an incredible faith journey to share with us. Father Murray is a widower who was a permanent deacon. After his wife passed away he discerned a calling to the priesthood. We are very excited to welcome him to Grand Rapids. Please RSVP today for the dinner. The dinner is now $70 per person. Please invite guests, spouses, significant others, friends, fellow parishioners, and others in the community whether Catholic or non-Catholic to this Mass and dinner. To RSVP, please email, Andrea Rule at [email protected]. Payment can be made by sending a check made out to the “Catholic Lawyers Association of Western Michigan” to Conor Dugan at Warner Norcross & Judd LLP, 900 Fifth Third Center, 111 Lyon Street NW, Grand Rapids, MI 49503-2487 or through PayPal at this link https://www.paypal.com/cgi-bin/webscr?cmd=_s-xclick&hosted_button_id=YJTYR7L7CPLXU (You can also always donate money to the Catholic Lawyers Association at this link: https://www.paypal.com/cgi-bin/webscr?cmd=_s-xclick&hosted_button_id=B2J6BUNZ84VAE) Dinner will be a chicken entrée, but vegetarian options are available.
